Class of 2024 Events

With the end of the year quickly approaching, we wanted to provide you with an overview of senior events to ensure everyone is aware and can plan accordingly. We are dedicated to creating an exciting and memorable culminating experience for our seniors who have done so much for our community!

Schedule of Senior Events

  • Saturday, April 27 - Senior Prom - 7:00-11:00 p.m. - The Glen Club, 2901 W Lake Ave. Glenview
    • Ticket prices will be about $150 per person depending on final fundraising efforts.
    • Prom guidelines and sign up details will be sent out in the near future.
    • Students will need to provide their own means of transportation.

  • Wednesday, May 1 - Cap & Gown Distribution  
    • Cap and gowns will be distributed to seniors during lunch periods
    • The cost is covered by the graduation fee.

  • Friday, May 3 - Senior Awards Ceremony - 8:00-9:30 a.m. - Jeuck Auditorium
    • Red Late Start Schedule
    • Parents are invited to attend. There will be a small reception after the ceremony.

  • Friday, May 3  - Senior Celebration - 6:00-11:00 p.m. - On campus
    • Seniors will enjoy an evening together filled with lots of laughter and fun. We thank the Parents Club for organizing and funding this event so students attend FOR FREE.
    • Any senior parents wishing to help with decorations, setup, or cleanup are encouraged to contact Maureen Mulligan or Beth Zimmerman.

  • Monday, May 6 - College Decision Day - 7:00-7:50 a.m. - Parking lot near Querbes Hall
    • Due to schools delaying decisions with FAFSA issues this year, we thought it would be best to push back Decision Day to provide more time for students to make their decision. 
    • Student Council will be coordinating with students to organize this event.

  • Monday, May 6 - Friday, May 10 - Senior Week
    • Dress-down days, treats, and fun to send our seniors off!
    • May 10th is the last full day of school.

  • Monday, May 6 - Friday, May 10 & Monday, May 13 - Friday, May 17 - AP Exams - Various times and locations
    • Students must wear uniform attire for AP Exams. 

  • Monday, May 13 & Tuesday, May 14 - Senior Final Exams 
    • Senior Final Exam Schedule will follow the typical block schedule: 
      • Monday, May 13 - R1-R4 Exams
      • Tuesday, May 14 - N1-N4 Exams
    • AP Exams will take precedence over senior finals. If you need to make up a senior final due to AP exams, please coordinate with your teacher, counselor, and/or Mr. Levin.
    • Please review pg. 30 of the Parent-Student Handbook for specifics on Senior Exemptions from Finals. 

  • Thursday, May 16 - Mandatory Graduation Practice for Students - 9:45-11:00 a.m. - Cahill Gymnasium
    • A full graduation walk-through and preview of Baccalaureate Mass will occur.
    • Seniors will receive a graduation packet that includes their graduation tickets, and medicals will be returned. 
    • Seniors can donate any uniform polos, pants, spirit wear, and lanyards to Dean Deb to be placed in uniform exchange.

  • Friday, May 17 - Baccalaureate Mass - 7:00 p.m. - Cahill Gymnasium
    • Seating will be on a first come, first serve basis. There will be no restrictions on the number of people in the group. We will update you if this changes.

  • Sunday, May 19 - Pre-Graduation Party - Cubs Game - 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. - Wrigley Field
    • Seniors have already purchased tickets through Blackbaud. Tickets will be digitally distributed to students once they arrive at the stadium.
    • Buses will depart Saint Viator at 11:00 a.m. and arrive back around 5:30 p.m.
    • Seniors should arrive by 10:30 a.m. for a pre-party reception.

  • Monday, May 20 - Class of 2024 Graduation - 7:00-8:30 p.m. - Cahill Gymnasium
    • Seniors must arrive by 6:00 p.m.
    • Tickets are required. Each student will receive 4 tickets. 
    • To return tickets you will not be using, request extra tickets (very limited quantities), or request any special-need reserve seating, please contact Mrs. Cathy Abrahamian via email or by phone at 847-392-4050, ext 216.
    • A livestream of graduation will be available in the auditorium. No tickets required. 
Located in Arlington Heights, IL, Saint Viator High School is a private, co-ed, Catholic school for grades 9-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
