Application Process for Incoming Freshmen

Step 1: Prepare for the Entrance Exam

Prospective freshmen begin the application process by preparing for the Entrance Exam. Families are encouraged to review the options below and complete any necessary forms by the stated deadlines.

  • 1. Apply for Accommodations

    Students requesting academic accommodations must submit all required documentation to the Scanlan Center for review. Please see important Service Plan Documentation Information here.

    Documentation Due:
    Saturday, November 15, 2025
    After November 15, please email all documentation to Mrs. Erica Fuja. Acceptance into the Scanlan Program is not guaranteed. 

    Required Materials:
    • Request for Accommodations Form
    • IEP/504 Plan or documentation of a diagnosed learning disability
  • 2. Apply for Tuition Assistance

    Each application is reviewed individually to assess financial need.

    Round 1 Deadline: November 15, 2025
    Round 2 Deadline: March 1, 2026

    To apply:
    1. Complete the Tuition Assistance Application through FACTS by the deadline.
    2. Submit required documents (W-2 form and income tax returns).
  • 3. Register for the Entrance Exam

    All incoming freshmen must register for the Entrance Exam.

    Registration Window: Friday, November 21 – Friday, December 5, 2025
    Exam Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
    Make-up Exams: Saturday, December 13, and Monday, December 15, at 8:00 a.m.

    (The make-up exam is only open to 8th-grade students who did not test at any other Catholic high school.)

Step 2: Take the Entrance Exam

Early Acceptance for the Class of 2030

Students who would like to receive an admission decision before Christmas may choose the Early Acceptance option during exam registration.

Requirements:
  • Take the Entrance Exam on Saturday, December 6, 2025
  • Select Early Acceptance during registration
  • Submit required test scores and report cards by Tuesday, December 9, 2025, to earlyacceptance@saintviator.com.
Early Acceptance notifications: Friday, December 19, 2025
 

Regular Notifications

  • Admissions Decisions: Friday, January 30, 2026
  • Tuition Assistance Awards: Friday, January 30, 2026

Step 3: Begin the Enrollment Process

  • Enrollment contracts and course registration details will be sent at the end of January.
  • Incoming freshmen will meet individually with a counselor to select courses.
  • Students are encouraged to take proficiency exams in Modern World Languages and Mathematics in the spring (dates to be announced).
  • Enrollment Deadline: April 15, 2026

Transfer Application Process

Please note that transfer students are accepted at the beginning of each semester.
