Saint Viator Special Events

Special events at Saint Viator High School serve several purposes - celebrating community, raising funds, rallying school spirit, and growing together in our faith.

Pat Mahoney Golf Classic, September 29, 2023

Celebrate a living legend while enjoying a round of golf with fellow Lions at the 4th annual Pat Mahoney Golf Classic. An outing named in honor of Mr. Pat Mahoney - longtime teacher, coach, dean of students, friend, and supporter of Saint Viator. The event is hosted by Saint Viator's Alumni Association Board and all proceeds benefit the Alumni Scholarship Endowment for legacy students; providing critical tuition assistance for second and third-generation Lions.

Giving Tuesday, December 3, 2024

Giving Tuesday is a virtual celebration and a global day of giving to worthy causes.
In 2023, thanks to your generosity and the support of others like you, the Saint Viator family raised $103,445 with 287 gifts made.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Night of the Lion, April 13, 2024

The Night of the Lion is a celebratory night where alumni, parents (past and present), and friends of Saint Viator gather to honor those who have made an impact on our community and to raise funds to benefit the tuition assistance endowment fund. As the cost of education continues to increase each year, there is an urgent and ongoing need to continue to offer meaningful tuition assistance to our students. This year we will be honoring Nick ‘97 and Katie Papanicholas for their tireless commitment and passion for Saint Viator.

Million Dollar Classic, June 2024

The Million Dollar Classic golf outing serves as one of the primary fundraisers for the Saint Viator High School athletic department. Last year's Million Dollar Classic raised funds to build out a wellness bar and gathering space on the first floor of the school to provide not only a sense of community but a quick and convenient spot for nutritious food options.
Located in Arlington Heights, IL, Saint Viator High School is a private, co-ed, Catholic school for grades 9-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
