    Boys’ Lacrosse and Football Players Headline Spring National Signing Day

    Saint Viator boys’ lacrosse is one of the top three teams in the state, with its 7-1 record so far this season. Coach Geoff Harty credits not only the team’s work ethic and rigorous schedule but also his senior class, who have compiled a record of 63-14 over the last four years.

    “I’m incredibly proud of them,” Coach Harty says. “They’ve been leaders of our team, on and off the field.”

    Six of his seniors were front and center at Wednesday’s Spring National Signing Day, signing their letters of intent to play lacrosse in college. Joining them was senior wide receiver Sasha Summers, who will be playing football at Western Illinois University.

    A Decade of Dedication: Saint Viator Senior’s Eagle Scout Project Uplifts Local Nonprofit

    Officials at Northwest Compass in Mount Prospect say they are “ecstatic” with senior Jack Aliprandi's efforts and leadership.

    “Our newly renovated lobby radiates beauty, elegance, and warmth! We are ecstatic,” said Northwest Compass Executive Director Sonia Ivanov. “Hats off to Jack Aliprandi for completing his Eagle Scout project. Jack’s leadership and commitment to excellence truly inspire us!”

    In February, Jack led members of his Boy Scout troop 155 in Mount Prospect in building new wall unit displays to display a variety of products and clothing items available to Northwest Compass clients.
