Meet the Department:

MartyMr. Jason Kuffel
Athletic Director
Mr. Kuffel is an alumnus of Saint Viator High School (Class of 1999). He previously worked as the Saint Viator Director of Enrollment and coached baseball, basketball and lacrosse over a 19-year period at Saint Viator. Mr. Kuffel was a 4-year varsity baseball player and 2-year varsity basketball player while attending Saint Viator.

Mr. Kuffel’s sister, brother-in-law, father-in-law and mother-in-law all attended Saint Viator/Sacred Heart of Mary High School. Mr. Kuffel is married to Heidi.


MikeMr. Dave Archibald
Assistant Athletic Director
Mr. Archibald started at Saint Viator in 2016 as the varsity football coach and also joined the Athletic Department in 2017. He previously taught Theology for eleven years at Marquette University High School, and also coached eight years at NCAA Division III Wisconsin Lutheran College. He and his wife Jennifer have four children.


SusieMrs. Susie McNamara
Athletic Department Assistant
Mrs. McNamara began working at Saint Viator as the Athletic Department Assistant in 1994. Her husband, John is a Class of 1968 alum. They have three children, Melissa '00, J.P. '06 and the late Jessica. As an alumni spouse and parent, she is very involved with various activities and fundraisers.

Strength and Conditioning Coach
Coach Nadolna comes to us from New Trier High School, where he served as the assistant strength and conditioning coordinator. He spent time as an intern at Loyola University Chicago, where he worked with Loyola's men's and women's D-1 intercollegiate athletic programs. He graduated from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois where he played varsity football all four years.

Coach Nadolna shares in our mission of being a Champion on and off the field. In his free time, Alex works with the sports based non-profit The Good Athlete Project. The mission of G.A.P is to help students realize their potential through athletics. He also works for the Illinois High School Powerlifting Association, the governing body for team-based, unequipped, powerlifting in the state of Illinois.
