Strength and Athletic Training

Saint Viator is committed to fostering an inclusive and enthusiastic environment where education, safety, and an understanding of basic strength and conditioning principles are prioritized. From our PE classes to varsity sports, every student has access to our highly acclaimed Murphy Wellness Center where our full-time strength and conditioning coach and athletic training staff take a unified and holistic approach.

John Sclafini, Saint Viator Hockey Coach

As a coach, my passion is to not only teach our student-athletes to grow as players but more importantly as men. Preparing them for college and life after high school. They will be proud to have played for Saint Viator, proud of the education they received, and proud of the legacy they helped establish for high standards on and off the ice. Ultimately, that's what it means to be a Lion.
