• Accounts Payable/Payroll/HR Coordinator - Full-Time

  Saint Viator High School is searching for an Accounts Payable/Payroll/HR Coordinator to join our team! We are looking for an empathetic, thoughtful candidate who has enthusiasm for Catholic education and wants to join our finance team.

  
  

  The Accounts Payable/Payroll/HR Coordinator is responsible for the financial processing of transactions for Saint Viator High School. Duties include processing vendor invoices into the accounting system, obtaining approval for vendor payments, verifying payments are within department budgets, supporting the payment of invoices, and accurate record keeping. This role will further coordinate our payroll processing and annual enrollment in benefits.
  
  

  SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  Accounts Payable:

  1. Ensure PO’s are properly approved and processed. 
  2. Ensure all non-PO invoices get timely approval and the GL accounting coding is accurate.
  3. Verifies that costs are in line with annual budget. 
  4. Processes and enters all A/P invoices weekly into Financial Edge.
  5. Mails/Distributes signed checks including assembling check payment advice to invoice.
  6. Requests and maintains vendor W-9’s for 1099 filing at year end.  Completes 1099’s filing at year end.
  7. Files, maintains and distributes accounting documents, records and reports.

  
  

  Payroll:

  1. Processes, posts, and edits new hires.
  2. Manage payroll files and other record keeping.
  3. Process semi-monthly payroll in ADP (Paycom) for faculty, staff and coaches.
  4. Creates new employee files and onboards new employees

  
  

  Human Resources:

  1. Manages annual benefits enrollment with broker

  
  

  QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 3 year’s experience in payroll and accounts payable or similar roles
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with Blackbaud Financial Edge/ADP and or Paycom 
  • Personal commitment to the mission of Saint Viator High School and to Catholic, secondary education
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good listening and communication skills

  Saint Viator High School seeks a qualified Head Girls Lacrosse Coach for the 2024-25 school year. Experience in coaching lacrosse at the high school or club level is required.
