  • Assistant Director of Advancement - Full-Time

    Saint Viator High School seeks a full-time Assistant Director of Advancement. This individual is responsible for supporting the School's efforts in fundraising, alumni relations, communications, and community outreach. This individual will work closely with the Vice President of Advancement to build and maintain relationships with donors, alumni, parents, and the broader community to advance the school's mission. The Assistant Director will play a key role in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives that support the school’s financial needs and strategic goals, all while upholding the values of the Catholic faith.     Preferred candidates should have: 
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in advancement, fundraising, communications, or a similar role (preferably in an educational or Catholic environment).
    • Experience managing social media platforms and creating digital content.
    • Knowledge of donor relations, fundraising techniques, and event planning.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with donor management software (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, DonorPerfect) is preferred.
    • Experience working in the Advancement office of an education or school setting is a plus; in particular, experience successfully engaging families, alumni, and activating volunteer committees.
    • Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge donor database software is a plus.

  • Teacher-Reading/Literacy Specialist - Full-Time

    Saint Viator High School seeks a full-time reading/literacy specialist. The Catholic high school reading/literacy specialist is responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students to improve their literacy skills. This role works with students individually or in small groups to address specific reading and writing needs, utilizing evidence-based strategies to foster academic growth. The teacher will collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents to support the academic success of all students, while maintaining a Catholic, faith-centered approach to education.     • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, Literacy, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 
    • State certification or endorsement as a Reading Specialist (or in process of obtaining). 
    • Previous experience teaching literacy at the high school level, preferably in a  Catholic school setting. 
    • Strong knowledge of evidence-based literacy instruction practices and current trends in education. 
    • Understanding of Catholic values and a commitment to integrating faith into the educational process.
