  • Fall Sport Tryouts
    • All fall student-athletes must be registered in FinalForms before participating. Please complete all required parent and student forms and upload a current physical as soon as possible to receive team communications from coaches.

  • Class of 2030 Family Welcome Night, 6:30 p.m.
    • We're excited to officially welcome the Class of 2030 and their families to Saint Viator! Please register if you plan to attend. McKenna Marketplace will also be open from 6:00–8:00 p.m. for families wishing to purchase uniforms or Saint Viator spirit wear before the school year begins.
Friday, August 14
  • Student Class Schedules Available in Blackbaud
    • Requests for schedule changes should be directed to the Counseling Department. Please note that schedule adjustments are limited and subject to course availability.

  • LINK Crew Leaders Meeting
Monday, August 17
  • New Student Orientation, 8:00 a.m. - 2:35 p.m.
    • Students should wear their Class of 2030 T-shirt and non-uniform shorts or pants. Please do not bring your iPad or any school supplies. Cell phones will be collected at the beginning of the day by their group leader and returned to students at the end of the day. Students are encouraged to bring a water bottle. Pizza and water will be provided for lunch. If your student has dietary restrictions or food preferences, they are welcome to bring their own lunch.

  • Mandatory Student Forms Due
    • The following medical forms must be submitted before the first day of school. Forms may be emailed to the school nurse, Mrs. Maura Haddad ’09, at mhaddad@saintviator.com, or dropped off in person. Please contact Mrs. Haddad by email or phone at Ext. 213 with any questions.

  • First Day of Classes - Navy Day

  • Student Club Fair | Lion Blocks B/C
    • All students are welcome to attend our annual club fair during Lion Block B & C!  With our new Lion Block, our clubs and activities have shown tremendous growth over the past year.  Our clubs are continuing to make it even better this year, so we challenge you to join at least one club!  The interest form can be found HERE, but it will also be shared out to all students after the fair.
Friday, August 21
  • School Picture Day
    • Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors will be taking their yearbook/ID pictures on Friday, August 21. Students will be called to Mahoney alphabetically by class, starting with Seniors.
    • It is still a “Spirit Wear” Friday, but students should bring a school polo for the picture.  We will provide some as well for students who forget.
    • SENIORS - you have the opportunity to take your official graduation/award picture that day.  You can bring nicer attire to change into 
    • Freshmen and new students will be taking their school photos and receiving their ID on Monday, August 17, at their orientation.
    • Makeup pictures will occur on September 21, 2026.
  • Football Game Home Opener vs. St. Ignatius, 7:30 p.m. at Forest View Stadium

    ATHLETIC REGISTRATION INFORMATION
    Please make sure your student-athlete is registered through our new athletic registration platform, FinalForms - Click Here.
     
    Both the parent and student-athlete must complete and sign all required forms. You may also upload your student-athlete's physical through FinalForms for verification. Please review these instructions for registering your student.
     
    As a reminder, student-athletes will NOT be permitted to participate until they are registered for their sport(s), all required forms have been signed, and a valid physical is on file.
     
    FALL SPORTS START DATES

    FALL ATHLETICS PARENT/STUDENT MEETING
    Wednesday, August 12 | 7:00 p.m. | Cahill Gymnasium
    A required meeting for all fall student-athletes and their parents will be held on Wednesday, August 12, at 7:00 p.m. in Cahill Gymnasium. Families will hear from the Athletic Department and head coaches as we prepare to begin the season.
     
    Topics will include:
    • Athletic Department culture, rules, and regulations
    • Team rules, expectations, and season information
  • Mandatory Forms

    Please be sure to complete your student’s Medical and Emergency Forms online before the first day of classes on Tuesday, August 18. This ensures we have the necessary information to keep your child safe and cared for.
  • Summer Assignments

    Summer assignments for the upcoming school year are available in Blackbaud. Please visit this link to the resource board to view them. If you are having trouble remembering what courses your student is registered for, please refer to their unofficial transcript in Blackbaud under the progress tab; next year's courses will be listed.
  • Uniforms

    Shop McKenna Marketplace online for uniform polos and other spiritwear items.

    The campus store will be open on:
    • Thursday, August 13, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. (Class of 2030 Welcome Night)
    • You can also shop for uniform polos and other spiritwear items online at any time.
  • Quest Food Services

    To ensure your student has funds in their Quest account to purchase food during their lunch or study hall, please add money to their account. Freshmen parents can find details on the account setup process here. Freshmen and transfer students are also able to bring checks made payable to Quest Food Services to New Student Orientation on Monday, August 17.   • Transportation

    Metra Shuttle
    Shuttle bus service is provided on all attendance days before and after school to and from the Arlington Heights train station. Students who take either the eastbound or the westbound Metra trains may use this service. Register here.
