Saint Viator Announces Resignation of Head Football Coach Robbie Gould
Saint Viator High School announced today that Robbie Gould has resigned from his position as Head Football Coach following the conclusion of the 2026 regular football season. Gould has made the decision to step away from coaching to spend more time with his family.
"We are grateful to Coach Gould for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to our student-athletes," said Ryan Aiello, President, Saint Viator High School. "We appreciate his contributions to Saint Viator football, respect his decision to prioritize his family and wish him all the best."
Saint Viator remains committed to building a strong, competitive football program that develops student-athletes both on and off the field, fosters a positive team culture and reflects the school's tradition of excellence.
A search for the next Head Football Coach is already underway, with an emphasis on identifying a leader who will strengthen the program, support the recruitment and development of student-athletes, and position the Lions for long-term success.
"Our commitment to Saint Viator football extends beyond any one coach," said Nick Sobieszczyk, Athletic Director. "We are investing in the future of this program, and our student-athletes will remain our top priority. We are focused on finding the right leader to guide the next chapter of Saint Viator football."
While stepping away from his role as Head Football Coach, Gould will continue to support senior student-athletes with their college recruiting efforts and assist with the leadership transition as needed.
The school will provide updates as the search progresses.
