    Saint Viator’s Bass Fishing Team is Headed Downstate

    Saint Viator’s bass fishing team is making quite a name for itself. For the second time since the club was formed (2009), these anglers are heading to the state tournament. Luke Altman ’23, Lucas Doland ’22, and Colton Faulkner ’23 were on the qualifying boat, with their combined catch of 11.9 pounds of bass. Their catch—hauled on May 5 at the Busse Woods Reservoir— was good enough for second place and a berth to the state tournament.

  • New Cheerleading Coach On-Board at Saint Viator

    Athletic Director Jason Kuffel moved quickly to hire a new coach for the school’s cheerleading program, naming Alexandra Hoffman to the role. Hoffman comes to Saint Viator from Loyola Academy where she has served as Assistant Coach for both the JV and Varsity teams.

  • Record Number of Saint Viator Athletes Commit on Spring National Signing Day

    It was just a few months ago, that Saint Viator seniors Casey Hintz and Anthony Pluto were headed to play baseball at the junior college level, as a stepping stone to a major program. On Wednesday, the two teammates signed letters of intent to play at the University of Arizona, one of the power five conferences (Pac-12) in the country, to play for the highly-rated Wildcats.

    Class of 2008 Alumnus Returns As New Athletic Trainer

    Saint Viator High School has announced the hiring of alumnus Arika Cozzi '08, DAT, LAT, ATC, as the school’s new Athletic Trainer. Cozzi will begin her role in early March. In making the announcement, Athletic Director Jason Kuffel noted Cozzi’s extensive experience working with high schools in the area and in Arizona, and her desire to specifically work in a Catholic school environment.
