New Cheerleading Coach On-Board at Saint Viator

Athletic Director Jason Kuffel moved quickly to hire a new coach for the school’s cheerleading program, naming Alexandra Hoffman to the role. Hoffman comes to Saint Viator from Loyola Academy where she has served as Assistant Coach for both the JV and Varsity teams.

Hoffman graduated cum laude from Northwestern University where she was also captain of the cheerleading team. During her time as a student-athlete, Hoffman interned for the United States Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations where she worked on forensic interviews with the youth.

Hoffman has been a member of the Incredibulls, the cheerleading squad for the Chicago Bulls. In addition to cheering at Bulls games, the squad also makes numerous marketing and charity appearances on behalf of the team.

During her time in high school, Hoffman was awarded the “Most Valuable Player” and was selected as a member of the All-American Cheerleading Team that represented the United States in London, England.

“We’re very excited to welcome someone who has been so successful in cheerleading,” said Kuffel. “Alex brings a great deal of energy and passion to our program.”

The Saint Viator cheerleading team has a history of success including several state championships.

“Saint Viator provides me with a great opportunity to pursue my passion in a very supportive and accomplished community,” Hoffman said. “I look forward to building a team of dedicated individuals that will be successful in competition, in building school spirit, and in representing the Viator Way in all we do.”
