    REMINDERS
    1. What should students wear?
      1. Class of 2029 T-Shirt with non-uniform shorts/pants.
      2. Students will be provided with a variety of uniform polos to take their yearbook picture.
    2. Where do students enter and meet?
      1. All students should enter through the Front Entrance and meet their crew in Cahill Gymnasium.
      2. Please arrive between 7:45 and 8:00 a.m.
      3. Orientation will end at 2:35 p.m.
    3. What do students need to bring?... Nothing!
      1. Student schedules will be printed with locker numbers for all students.
      2. Students will receive their school ID, lanyard, and ID holder after their picture.
      3. Students do not need to bring their iPads. If cell phones are brought, students will be asked to keep them off to stay engaged throughout the day.
      4. A pizza lunch will be provided for all students.  If your son/daughter has a known allergy, they are welcome to bring their lunch.
      5. Water will be provided to students throughout the day.
    4. McKenna Marketplace is open from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on this day for parents to purchase anything they need to begin the school year.
    5. After orientation, students who are waiting for tryouts/practice may wait in Burks Place.

    REMINDERS 
    1. What should students wear?
      1. Students can wear Viator Spirit wear and non-uniform shorts/pants.
    2. What should students bring?
      1. Students will only need to bring their iPad.
      2. Freshmen should bring their lock to secure their lockers. Upperclassmen may bring a new lock as well.
      3. Seniors will take their yearbook picture on this day.  Seniors can utilize this day to take their “premier senior photo” if they have not already scheduled a premier photo session at a VIP studio.
        1. Extra uniform polos will be provided for photos if needed
        2. Students can change into their nicer attire if needed.
      4. A “ball park” lunch, including hamburgers, hot dogs, and other snacks, will be provided to students for lunch. If your son/daughter has a known allergy, they are welcome to bring their lunch.
    3. Where should students enter?
      1. Students may enter through either entrance. Metra Transportation will operate as a typical school day for students who take the train.
    Seniors who have late start/early release are expected to be in their homerooms at 8:00 a.m. and remain at school the entire day. Seniors should attend the assigned room listed on their schedule in Blackbaud.
  • Athletics

    • Students interested in competing in fall sports must complete the mandatory athletic registration and have an up-to-date physical on file in the Athletic Department before tryouts begin on Monday, August 11.

  • Mandatory Forms

    Please be sure to complete your student’s Medical and Emergency Forms online before the first day of classes on Wednesday, August 13. This ensures we have the necessary information to keep your child safe and cared for.
  • Summer Assignments

    Summer assignments for the upcoming school year are available in Blackbaud. Please visit this link to the resource board to view them. If you are having trouble remembering what courses your student is registered for, please refer to their unofficial transcript in Blackbaud under the progress tab; next year's courses will be listed.
  • Uniforms

    Slight Uniform Price Increase 
    We offer our uniform polos at affordable prices, but we need to slightly increase the prices this year due to our vendors incurring higher production costs. Thankfully, we haven’t had to increase our prices for several years!

    Starting August 11, the new tax-free prices:
    Short Sleeve Uniform Polos: $25
    Long Sleeve Uniform Polos: $30
    Quarter Zips: $34.50

  • Quest Food Services

    To ensure your student has funds in their Quest account to purchase food during their lunch or study hall, please add money to their account. Freshmen parents can find details on the account setup process here. Freshmen and transfer students are also able to bring checks made payable to Quest Food Services to New Student Orientation on Monday, August 11.   • Transportation

    Metra Shuttle
    Shuttle bus service is provided on all attendance days before and after school to and from the Arlington Heights train station. Students who take either the eastbound or the westbound Metra trains may use this service. Register here.
