Seven Saint Viator Seniors Recognized as National Merit Commended Scholars

Saint Viator High School is proud to announce that seven members of the Class of 2026 have been named National Merit Commended Scholars in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement.

Congratulations to Jacob Bondy, Matthew Brents, Chad Carlson, Francesa Demeter, Savannah Galaura, Raewon Kim, and Emily Walberg for earning this distinguished honor.

Each year, approximately 34,000 students nationwide receive Letters of Commendation through the National Merit Scholarship Program. These students are recognized for their exceptional academic promise, having placed among the top 50,000 scorers of the more than 1.5 million students who entered the competition by taking the 2024 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).
