Sports are not merely an exercise of muscles, but a school of moral values and of training in courage and perseverance.
Saint Viator High School provides exceptional opportunities for personal development and athletic excellence. Our student athletes have a long record of success, whether achieving personal bests and breaking records, or expressing their commitment through leadership, teamwork and collaboration. Saint Viator is the right size for students to excel in athletics and academics, while being an engaged member of their school and community.
We approach athletics in a unique way, bringing together our Catholic mission, athletic excellence, and a Viatorian commitment to integrity, sportsmanship, ethics, generosity, and service.
Saint Viator’s bass fishing team is making quite a name for itself. For the second time since the club was formed (2009), these anglers are heading to the state tournament. Luke Altman ’23, Lucas Doland ’22, and Colton Faulkner ’23 were on the qualifying boat, with their combined catch of 11.9 pounds of bass. Their catch—hauled on May 5 at the Busse Woods Reservoir— was good enough for second place and a berth to the state tournament.
Athletic Director Jason Kuffel moved quickly to hire a new coach for the school’s cheerleading program, naming Alexandra Hoffman to the role. Hoffman comes to Saint Viator from Loyola Academy where she has served as Assistant Coach for both the JV and Varsity teams.
Located in Arlington Heights, IL, Saint Viator High School is a private, co-ed, Catholic school for grades 9-12. Students benefit from a challenging academic program, fine and performing arts, competitive athletics, and a wide selection of extracurricular activities.
