Strength and Conditioning

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to develop young women and men of discipline and grit who seek to improve themselves in critical life and athletic traits such as competitiveness, a consistent work ethic and self-motivation. We seek to accomplish this mission across the spectrum of every type of student-athlete and in the spirit of the Viatorian mission.

PHILOSOPHY

To foster an inclusive and enthusiastic environment where education, safety, and an understanding of basic strength and conditioning principles are our main priorities.  Instead of focusing on sport-specific only protocols, we intend to take a unified and holistic approach where all athletic qualities are trained.

COACH NADOLNA

Coach Nadolna came to us from New Trier High School, where he served as the assistant strength and conditioning coordinator. He spent time as an intern at Loyola University Chicago, where he worked with Loyola's men's and women's D-1 intercollegiate athletic programs. At New Trier, he spent his stay assisting with program development and implementation for each of New Trier's club and sport co-curricular activities.

Coach Nadolna shares in our mission of being a Champion on and off the field. In his free time, Alex serves as the Assistant Director of Operations for the Good Athlete Project. The mission of the GAP is to help people realize their potential through athletics. He also serves as the Assistant Director for the Illinois High School Powerlifting Association.
