Nora Ahram '22 Joins Saint Viator Basketball’s 1K Point Club

Congratulations to senior Nora Ahram on joining Saint Viator Girls’ Basketball’s esteemed 1,000 point club this week! She achieved this historic milestone Monday during the team’s non-conference game against Stevenson.

As a four-year starter, Nora has played 110 games as a varsity Lion. With the end of the regular season, Nora has amassed 1,013 points and 482 assists. The Lions open up IHSA playoffs next week against Antioch where she hopes to add to those totals.

"I'm really happy for Nora," Head Coach Jason Raymond said to the Daily Herald. "I told her early in the season in front of the team that I was surprised that she was making a run for 1,000. Not because I didn't think she was a good scorer but because she creates so much for her teammates running the point for us. She is a player who generates a lot of assists (133 this season) and it was just surprising that she was able to score that many points considering all the assists she has."
