Prayer Request for Stephan Burks

The Saint Viator Community mourns the passing of our Director of Building and Grounds Stephan Burks last night. Steve succumbed to the cancer he had heroically been fighting during the past year.

Steve has served as Director of Building and Grounds at Saint Viator High School and the Viatorian Province Center for more than four decades. He has been steadfast in his commitment to this school and our students in particular. Under his guidance and leadership, our property has undergone many significant changes and improvements, and he was a steadying force whose tireless work allowed us to keep our faculty, staff, and students safely in school throughout this pandemic.

Please pray for the repose of his soul and for peace and comfort for his beloved wife Maggie. As soon as funeral arrangements are made we will share them with you.

God grant him eternal rest, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
