Favorite Saint Viator/Sacred Heart memory:
I think my favorite memories involve leading the Kairos and Quest retreats. It was always so special to see students outside of school. That was something that made working at SVHS different than any other school: the opportunity to engage with students and coworkers in a truly personal setting. I loved being able to share my views on my faith through the Sacraments talk and hearing from students that I made it a relatable and engaging topic. Oh, and who could forget when I was the only female teacher in the faculty-student basketball game?

Impact teaching at Saint Viator/Sacred Heart had on you:
Working at SVHS challenged me to be the best teacher I could be, all while being able to engage in our faith. I came in as a fresh, young teacher, passionate about teaching, and the community found at Saint Viator allowed me to flourish in my calling. I am still in touch with former students, and I am proud of the impact I had on them in my time there, and I know I am better because of their impact on me. Although I am no longer in the classroom, as I stayed home after the birth of my second child, my time teaching at SVHS still is very much a part of my life as a mother.
