Where Are They Now? Kirsten Anzalone

English Teacher from 2007-2017

Favorite Saint Viator/Sacred Heart memory:
My favorite memory at Saint Viator was when the staff secretly formed a skit or band to make a surprise performance in front of the student body at a pep rally. At Homecoming 2015, numerous faculty and staff members performed a dance, and the students really enjoyed it!

Impact teaching at Saint Viator/Sacred Heart had on you:
Teaching was my passion. I think my former students would remember me as a teacher who came alive with fire in my veins to share my love of literature. After my husband and I had our second child, I was no longer able to give teaching the time and respect it deserved. Although I still work in the educational setting, I do miss teaching. The families at Saint Viator impacted my life the most. Saint Viator families are a community, and without their support, I would not have been able to do my job as well as I did. Saint Viator left an enormous impact on my life - my students and their families gave me insight into how to be a better teacher and a better mother. I am forever grateful to all of them.

What made Saint Viator unique:
Saint Viator families and their connection to the Catholic faith that fosters a sense of community makes SVHS a unique place.
