“In This Together” Fundraiser Raises Thousands for Locals In Need
During the spring of 2020, Saint Viator Athletics and Boosters supported Journeys - The Road Home and Salute, Inc. through an “In This Together” merchandise fundraiser. Through the sale of t-shirts and masks, Saint Viator raised over $4,000 for both of these organizations. Both Journeys and Salute received a check for $2,000 from Saint Viator.
Journeys used the money to help house local homeless in area hotels, and Salute gave the money to help the family of Navy Petty Officer First Class Terry, who has served our country for 20 years.
Terry and his family are incredibly grateful to Salute and Saint Viator High School for the financial assistance that allowed their family to stay in their home. Terry and his family wrote a thank you to Salute and Saint Viator High School and stressed “the gratitude we felt last month is beyond words.”
