Summer Work Study and Internship Program

What to Expect as a student intern

Students will complete 240 total work-study hours over the course of the 6 week period where they will work 8 hour days, 5 days a week. As a work-study intern, you will have the opportunity to work at one of our partner businesses based on your location and your interests. Positions vary in the medical, financial and legal fields as well as technology, performing arts, non-profit and many more where you will be expected to complete the duties assigned by your employer.

Expanding upon your college and work resume, you will also gain invaluable real-world experience while paying for part of your Saint Viator education.

Additionally, this opportunity prepares you for life after high school as you craft marketable business and workplace skills while managing time with work and other co-curricular activities. Students will also develop relationships with a network of business professionals through the course of the program.



Designed for students who display and meet a financial need. We are looking for students who demonstrate a higher level of maturity and exceptional academics and attendance. Priority is given to those rising sophomores currently enrolled at Saint Viator. Limited number of positions available. 



Students may earn up to $3,000 tax-free towards their tuition for the upcoming academic year. After you complete the Summer program tuition reimbursement will be credited to the student account that Fall.

  • Applications: Deadline - March 1, 2019

  • Internship: 6 weeks (For example July 5 - August 8)
