International Admissions

The Reverend Mark R. Francis, CSV, International Program at Saint Viator High School provides a supportive environment that focuses on a student's needs and enables him/her to develop the cultural understanding and performance skills necessary to function appropriately and successfully in both academic and social situations.

About the International Program

  • Countries represented by international students at Saint Viator High School include China, Vietnam, Korea, India, Columbia, Russia, Brazil, and Italy
  • International students must attend Saint Viator High school for a minimum of two years in order to receive a Saint Viator High School diploma.
  • Students are mainstreamed into regular or honors college prep courses in preparation for entrance into U.S. universities and colleges.
  • As part of the graduation requirements, students will be enrolled in Theology classes, beginning with the course, Fundamentals of the Catholic Faith.
  • Students are required to complete 25 hours of Christian Service each year of attendance.
  • To date, 100% of the international students at Saint Viator have been accepted into U.S. colleges and universities.
  • The school requires that international students work with outside agents to enroll. It is mandatory for the student to remain under the guidance of their agency and continue to work with the agent/agency during their enrollment at Saint Viator High School. Students will not be allowed to change agencies.

Tuition and Fees for International Students

  • Saint Viator High School tuition for 2021-2022 school year is $14,800
  • An additional fee of $2,500 is required of all international students for the Rev. Mark R. Francis, CSV International Program
  • A non-refundable application fee of $500 (will be applied toward tuition) must be paid within 2 weeks of the student being accepted
  • Additional fees may apply
  • Full tuition is due before the start of school



Application Process

International Students applying to Saint Viator High School must submit the following documents:
  1. Completed Application to Saint Viator High School.
  2. Transcripts for the two most recent years.
  3. English language scores from TOEFL/TOEFL Junior/IELTS/ITEP/SLEP.
  4. English teacher recommendation letter.
  5. Second teacher recommendation letter.
  6. Parents’ financial statement.
  7. Copy of your passport.

Austin Bellino

Austin is a native of Chicago with extensive experience working in the education industry. He received a bachelor’s degree in education at Eastern Illinois University. After graduation, he moved to Beijing, China, where he worked as a teacher in the local school system and served as an education consultant at New Oriental (新东方).

  • Non-refundable Application Fee

    Non-refundable application fee of $500 payable by check/money order/bank transfer to Saint Viator High School is due within two weeks of acceptance (include student name and ID number). This fee will be applied toward tuition.
  • I-20 Application

    Saint Viator High School will process the I-20 application. This process begins after families have paid the $500 deposit and students have been admitted.
  • Immunization Records and State of Illinois Eye Exam Form
