  • All teachers in the department are available before or after school, as well as throughout the school day.
  • Teachers continue to avail themselves of post-graduate courses and workshops to stay current in the field.
  • The Writing Lab helps students with one-on-one conferencing on writing assignments for all academic classes.
  • Students are encouraged to use technology in their written and oral presentations.
  • The department offers a four-week College Essay Workshop, which takes students from the planning stage to a polished essay.
