Saint Viator School Spirit

Saint Viator High School Colors, Mascot and Seal

Navy blue and white are the school colors. The school mascot is the Lion, a figure derived from the French city of Lyon, the home of St. Viator and of Fr. Louis Querbes, the founder of the Viatorians. The school seal incorporates the red lion and white fleur-de-lis from the coat of arms of the city of Lyon, the crown of thorns surrounding the letters IHS, Latin for "In Hoc Signo," translated as "In this sign," centered on the cross, which is the seal of the Clerics of St. Viator, and three orbitals symbolizing scientific learning. The torch behind the shield is a symbol of knowledge, truth and the Catholic faith.

Saint Viator School Song

Ye fighting men of Viator
With banners of white and navy blue,
Fight, fight with might and main,
Loyal hearts beat for you.

RAH! RAH! RAH!

Bold defiant conquerors,
Fight, Fight, Fight for victory.
The cheers ring out, one mighty shout for
Viator's Varsity!
