Our children are faced with much more these days than homework and college applications. We will be posting various articles that hopefully will be of value in keeping up with an ever-changing culture. We need to talk to our kids about these things. Do not think for a minute that they are not happening here.

The next Parents' Club meeting is on Monday, October 6, 2008, at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the (Library) Resource Center on the first floor. Please join us!

The Parents' Club is an organization made up of current and alumni parents. The Club:

raises funds for the benefit of the school and students,
provides volunteer services and hospitality at seven school functions,
establishes a voice for parents
provides programs of interest for parents throughout the year.

The Parents' Club meets on the first Monday of the month when school is in session. All are welcome to join us. Meeting times are posted on this webpage prior to the first Monday.

Why should I become an active member of the Parents' Club?
-To find out what's going on at Saint Viator High School
-To meet other parents and to facilitate networking
-To feel connected to the school

Parents' Club Gifts - 2007-08 School Year:

With the money earned from our fundraisers, Parents’ Club was able to appropriate funds for the following projects:

Money was designated for the Fr. Thomas von Behren Scholarship benefiting four upperclassmen for the 2008-2009 school year. It will fund 50% of the tuition for each student.
A $2000 donation was made to The Viator Foundation.
Contribution of $27,000 to the Computer Lab to purchase more laptops.
Allocation of $2000 for a student and parent guest speaker for the 2008-2009 school year.
