Welcome to the Christian Service Experience Web page. Here you will find information about the Saint Viator High School Christian Service Requirement.

Each year, students will be required to complete 25 hours of Christian Service as part of their graduation requirement. This change reflects a commitment to our mission as a Viatorian school and our conviction that service to others is a constitutive element of the Christian life.

Saint Viator High School's Christian Service Experience Guide will answer most of your questions about the Christian Service requirement including the number of hours and the type of service that is accepted. If you have questions regarding the Christian Service Experience, please contact Ms. Betsy Fons, Christian Service Coordinator in Campus Ministry at extension 268.

2009-10 Christian Service Experience Guide

Each student must have the service hours pre-approved through Ms. Fons.
Pre-approval forms are available in Campus Ministry. Please note, the pre-approval form is only available in Campus Ministry since it is in triplicate.

As outlined in the Service Manual, service hours will be split up into three categories. Throughout the year, service projects will be made available to the students through Campus Ministry and on the Web. The list of service opportunities in each category will be updated as new experiences become available. If you have questions about a service opportunity, you may contact the agency directly or Ms. Fons in Campus Ministry.
