… the students in Spanish 1, 2 and 3, who earned honors in the National Spanish Exam. Rachel Ruddick 11 earned a gold medal for her 98 percent score, while Francisco Scaramuzza 14, Cathryn Rooney 14 and Molly Ziegler 14 all earned silver medals for their scores of 90 percent and above. Mary Kate DelGhingaro 14, Alexandra Glinos 14, Jack McNamara 14, Lillian Miossi 14 and Samantha Fiscal 14 all earned bronze medals. They include: Sara Fecko 13, who earned a 1st place in Level 2, while Julia MacKendrick 13 and Clare Koehler 13 both earned honorable mention. Michael DeStefano 12 and Christopher Santucci 12 both earned honorable mention for Level 3, while Kristen Zermatten 12 earned honorable mention in Level 4.

… the students who achieved honors in the National French Exam. They include: Kara Mlynski 13, who earned a certificate of honor for placing in the top 20th percentile in Level 2 for the Chicago Chapter. Sophomores Elizabeth Meehan, Emily Nolan, Katie Novak and Ciara Gaffney all scored in the top 30 percentile in Level 2, while freshmen Mary Hanisch and Paulette Matuk also scored in the top 30 percentile in Level 1.

… the students in the visual arts who won honors at the Spring Arts Festival. They included Louis Capozzoli 11 who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd for his works in the 2-D, black and white division. In 2-D color, Erin OConnell 11 took 1st place, while Christine McKee 11 took second and Katy Augustyn 11 placed third. In photography, Torey Lenart 11 took 1st and 3rd for her photos, while Cory Saunders 11 won 2nd place. In ceramics, Quinn Olender 11 won 1st place, followed by Patrick McConnell 11 who took 2nd and Emily Depner 11 who placed 3rd. Among sculpture works, Paul Lewis 11, took first and second place for his pieces, while Megan Goerth 12 placed third. In digital design, Paul Bartek 11 earned 1st place, while George Cwiak 11 won 2nd and Katy Augustyn 11 placed 3rd.
