The math club serves those students interested in math – its content, applications, and interconnectedness with digital technology.
Math Club is open to all students with an interest in math related topics. Anyone is welcome to join, just come to a meeting!
The presentations and activities are designed to accommodate a variety of backgrounds – from algebra through calculus. As tools, you will use your graphics calculator, home computer, and websites.
For students interested in math contests, there are a number of challenging competitions inside and outside of school:
- Illinois Math League, six times a year (held before school)
- ICTM Regional in February
- ICTM State Meet in May
- Loyola University Math Contest in February
- AMC (American Mathematics Competition) in February

Meetings are scheduled during activity periods. However, at times, individuals or small groups will be asked to meet with one of the moderators.
