Welcome to the Saint Viator High School Athletics website. Saint Viator has a long and storied tradition of athletic success. Among our accomplishments are eight team state championships, nine individual state champions, and nine other top four finishes in state competition. We take pride in the fact that almost 80% of our students participate in at least one of our twenty-six sports. Saint Viator student-athletes also strive for excellence in the classroom and in their communities. During the 2009-10 school year, 19 of our varsity athletic teams qualified for the IHSA Team Academic Achievement award for having a cumulative team GPA of a 3.0 or higher. Our theme for this year emphasizes our student-athletes place in their communities. Victory in Service highlights our commitment to providing service to our community. Each team is encouraged this year to participate in a service project and understand that winning does not always occur on the court or field, but rather it can be achieved by helping others as well.
Saint Viator High School believes strongly in promoting sportsmanship. We encourage all students, coaches, and fans to work with us to uphold this commitment. We believe that at Saint Viator sportsmanship is valued. If we all work together to promote this value, we will have a successful and enjoyable school year.
