The Saint Viator girls' track and field team competed in the De La Salle Meteors Invitational on Sunday, Feb. 6. The Lions took second place overall with 116 points, narrowly missing the championship by five points. Individual champions included Hanna Winter (800m), Kelli Wosick (400m), and the 3200m relay team consisting of Jenny Joyce, Katie Malek, Sarah Levenson, and Nicole LoVerde. The frosh/soph 4 x 1600m relay team of Tina Ronson, Allison Haug, Julia McKendrick, and Trisha Aguilar, also took first place.
A huge team accomplishment was the fact that every athlete who competed for Saint Viator scored and placed in the meet. |
