The Viator Foundation was established in 1996 as a way to increase the unrestricted funds available to Saint Viator High School on an annual basis.  Giving levels and associated recognition activities were created to distinguish our top donors.  Membership is offered to those who are willing to make an unrestricted investment of $500 or more to the Annual Fund from July 1 through June 30 of each fiscal year.  This generous stewardship allows the school administration and Board of Trustees to provide vital support to the areas of the school where the need is greatest. 

Since its inception, 642 alumni, current and past parents, and friends have made the commitment required to become members of The Viator Foundation.  Through their generosity, nearly $4.3 million in contributions has secured Saint Viator High School’s place as a leader in private secondary education. 

Over the past 13 years, The Viator Foundation has supported the following:

• the faculty endowment ensuring Saint Viator has highly trained and professional faculty and staff
• technological resources to ensure our students are prepared to face the realities of life in the 21st century
• the Tuition Assistance Fund, offering a diverse range of students the opportunity to receive a Viatorian education.

Saint Viator High School is blessed to have an extraordinary giving community, committed to supporting the growth and development of the Viatorian educational mission through membership in The Viator Foundation. During the 2008-2009 school year, 192 individuals and families contributed over $336,000 to The Viator Foundation, playing an important role in funding the needs of our school. Your stewardship is an inspiration to all who are a part of the Saint Viator community.

If you have been touched by a Viator experience, you share the legacy we have come to call “Always a Lion.”  And with this legacy, comes an understanding of your importance and fundamental role in continuing our almost 49 years of distinction in delivering academic excellence through a gospel-centered, Catholic college preparatory educational program provided by the faculty and staff at Saint Viator High School.  Becoming a Viator Foundation members places you and your families as the cornerstones of our Saint Viator community.  Your consistent annual giving is paramount to our existence in supporting the total needs of the school, both today and into the future.

As Viator Foundation members, you will receive recognition for your stewardship in the following ways:

• Recognition in The Viator Foundation and Saint Viator High School Annual Reports at appropriate giving Circle level
• The Viator Foundation Membership ID Card
• 10% discount in Saint Viator Bookstore on all gift and clothing items (excludes books) when Viator Foundation Membership ID Card is presented
• Invitation to The Viator Foundation Mass and Brunch (fall)
• Invitation to The Viator Foundation Reception (spring)
