For the 2013-2014 school year, all freshmen, sophomores and juniors will work with iPads in class and beyond. It is Saint Viator's most progressive learning tool yet.
“The use of the iPad in education challenges students to learn by doing and engages them in the learning process in multidimensional, dynamic and creative ways,” says Saint Viator principal Eileen Manno.
While the iPad will be an additional expense for families, the devices will save money in the long run as textbooks are replaced with e-books at a fraction of the cost.
