A Successful Golf Outing at Biltmore Country Club

It was a beautiful day at Biltmore for the 2008 Million Dollar Classic.  Thank you to all that supported this year’s Classic, the golfer, sponsors and volunteers.  Along with adult volunteers, the Million Dollar Classic has student volunteers that give of their day to greet and escort the golfers, sell raffle tickets, and facilitate the contest holes.  These students represent many of the sports teams that benefit from this fundraiser.  Over the years this event has raised almost $2,000,000 in support of the Saint Viator athletic program.

The 2009 Million Dollar Classic will continue to be a premier golf event. Mark your calendar now...

Once again, the sports teams will be selling Million Dollar Classic raffle tickets for a golf trip to Ireland or $5,000 in cash. Each ticket is $50 and 100% of the ticket price goes to a designated sport. This is great way for all sports teams to fundraise for equipment, uniforms or other special needs. 

The 2008 winner of the Irish raffle was Colin Noel.

80% of Saint Viator students participate in one or more sports, approximately 20% receive tuition assistance.

Each golfer is eligible for this event.  During the regular round of golf, guests qualify for a shot at the million dollar Hole-in-One.  The qualifiers take their lucky shot for the Million Dollar Hole-in-One during the cocktail hour with all guests witnessing the shot.
