The Viator Foundation was established in 1996 as a way to increase the unrestricted funds given to Saint Viator High School on an annual basis and also to identify and recognize our top donors. Membership is offered to donors who are willing to make an unrestricted investment of $500 or more to the Annual Fund from July 1 through June 30 of each fiscal year. The generous stewardship exhibited by Viator Foundation members continues to be an inspiration to the Administration, Board of Trustees, Faculty/Staff and other donors and prospective donors.

Throughout its history, Saint Viator High School has been blessed with the support of many donors who realize that being a leader in private secondary education and developing the school’s mission depend on significant financial support. Over the past 12 years, more than 563 alumni, current and past parents, and friends have made the commitment required to become members of The Viator Foundation. By contributing almost $4 million toward financial assistance to our students, professional growth for the faculty, improvement in the learning environment and continued development of technological resources, Viator Foundation members have played an instrumental role in many areas of school life.

The Viator Foundation continues to provide funding to address Saint Viator High School’s most pressing needs. Your investment in The Viator Foundation for 2008-09 will be used for:
   • Increasing the amount of Tuition Assistance we can
        offer to our students and their families
   • Providing for further improvements as needed in the
        learning environment we offer.

In continuing our efforts to create a stronger identity for The Viator Foundation and to invite and encourage increased levels of participation, the following incentives will be offered for the 2008-09 fiscal year. Being a Viator Foundation member means you are committed to quality, Catholic education as well as to Saint Viator High School.  Since members and their families are the cornerstone of our Saint Viator community they should be recognized and rewarded for their ongoing generous support.     

Founders Circle – Unrestricted Minimum Gift
of $5,000

• Receipt of Special President’s Insider Newsletter (“Inside the Lion’s Den”) distributed semi-annually

President’s Circle – Unrestricted Minimum Gift of $2,500

• All benefits of Viator Circle Membership plus:
• Invitation to Scholarship Luncheon and Program (spring)
• Two complimentary tickets and preferred seating for matinee performance of the musical (upon donor’s request)
• Books pulled by Advancement Office staff in advance for pickup and purchase on Book Day (2008-09 VF members will receive this benefit in August 2009)

Viator Circle – Unrestricted Minimum Gift
of $1,000

• All benefits of Lion’s Circle Membership plus:
• Two complimentary tickets and preferred seating for the spring play (upon donor’s request)
• 10% discount at the Saint Viator Bookstore on all clothing/gift purchases (excludes books)

Lion’s Circle – Unrestricted Minimum Gift of $500

• Recognition in Annual Report at appropriate level
• The Viator Foundation Membership I.D. Card and Decal
• Invitation to The Viator Foundation Mass and Brunch (fall)
• Invitation to The Viator Foundation Reception (spring)
