During an evening Mass at the Viatorian Province Center, Br. Daniel Lydon was received into the novitiate. Members of the formation team, including Director of Novices, Fr. Arnold Perham, CSV, Provincial Fr. Thomas von Behren, CSV, and members of Br. Lydon’s local community were present. During his novitiate year, Br. Lydon will spend time studying the history, mission, and spirituality of the Viatorian Community. Prior to entering the novitiate, Br. Lydon served as teacher and administrator at Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights and as Director of Association and Coordinator of Vocation Ministry for the community. His educational degrees include an undergraduate degree in modern languages and graduate degrees in theology, pastoral studies and education administration. He recently completed a doctorate in ministry from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.
